The Role
Esker is looking for a Sales Engineering Manager to lead, develop, and scale a high-performing team of Sales Engineers across the Americas. This is an opportunity for a proven presales leader who is passionate about coaching talent, driving sales effectiveness, and helping organizations solve complex business challenges through technology.
As Sales Engineering Manager, you'll sit at the intersection of sales strategy, technical consulting, and talent development. You'll work alongside Sales, Product, Professional Services, Customer Success, and global presales leaders to ensure our teams are equipped to win in a competitive market while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Team Leadership & Talent Development
Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and career development opportunities to strengthen technical, consultative, and customer-facing capabilities.

Serve as a change agent during organizational growth and transformation.
Sales Strategy & Technical Execution
Partner with Sales leadership to understand pipeline health, support revenue growth, improve sales effectiveness, and achieve business objectives.
Provide leadership and guidance throughout the sales cycle, helping the team effectively navigate discovery, demonstration strategy, technical validation and solution positioning.
Establish best practices and operational consistency across the region to improve customer engagement, win rates, and sales outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Professional Services, Customer Success, Product Management, R&D and presales teams to ensure alignment across the customer lifecycle.
Act as the voice of the customer by providing feedback on market trends, product enhancements, competitive insights, and evolving customer requirements.
Operational Excellence
Monitor team performance, pipeline support activities, and key operational metrics, providing insights and recommendations to leadership and drive coaching conversations
Identify opportunities to improve Sales Engineering processes, tools, and methodologies that enhance scalability, productivity, and business results.
Drive alignment between regional priorities and global presales objectives.
Essential Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in business or equivalent experience in business or related field
5+ years of experience in Presales, Sales Engineering, Solution Consulting, or related customer-facing technical roles required, within the B2B SaaS industry preferred
3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably within a global matrix organization
Deep understanding of enterprise software, SaaS sales cycles, business process automation including source-to-pay and invoice-to-cash
Experience executing and coaching sales discovery, demonstrations, technical validation, solution architecture and proposal support
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and non-technical audiences
Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for driving business growth and operational execution
Strong executive communication and presentation skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
Working Conditions:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Travel:
Ability to travel up to 15-20% of working hours
Salary Range: $129,000-165,000 + Commission
